The World of video games has been evolving for decades. Last year was one of the best years for the industry with some heavy hitters like legend of Zelda, Horizon zero and many others. This is going to jam pack and let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint us. Here are the top ten games releasing this year.

Number 10 : Dragon ball fighterz

Dragon Ball FighterZ (Japanese: ドラゴンボール ファイターズ Hepburn: Doragon Bōru Faitāzu) is an upcoming 2.5D fighting game[4] developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, based on the Dragon Ball franchise for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It is set to be released January 26, 2018 internationally and February 1, 2018 in Japan.

Number 9 : Vampyr

Vampyr takes place after the Great War, in 1918 London. The city has been devastated by conflict, and the Spanish Flu is spreading rapidly among its citizens.

While the British government struggles to rebuild the country, secretive groups led by supernatural beings are pulling strings with growing influence. Ancient vampire societies, occult scholars and relentless vampire hunters all compete for dominance in a shadowy conflict lasting millennia.

Number 8: Days gone

Days Gone (stylized as DAYS GONE) is an upcoming action-adventure survival horror video game in development by SIE Bend Studio and to be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4 in 2018. It will be the first intellectual property created by SIE Bend Studio since Syphon Filter in 1999 and the first home console game developed by the studio since Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow in 2010. Unreal Engine 4 is being used for the game’s development.

Number 7: Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human is an upcoming neo-noir thriller video game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for release on the PlayStation 4 in Q1/Q2 2018. The plot revolves around three androids: Kara, who escapes the factory she was made in to explore her newfound sentience; Connor, whose job it is to hunt down deviant androids like Kara; and Markus, who devotes himself to releasing the androids from servitude. The characters may survive or perish depending on the choices that are made, which serve to shape the story as customized by the player.

Number 6: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on February 13, 2018. It is set in the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia, an Imperial State of the Holy Roman Empire, with a focus on historically accurate and realistic content.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a single-player experience with branching quest lines and a highly interactive world encouraging emergent gameplay. It will feature period-accurate armors and clothing, combat techniques, and real-world castles recreated with the assistance of architects and historians. The game will also contain period-accurate music recorded by Czech musicians.

Number 5: Monster Hunter: World

Monster Hunter: World[a] is an upcoming action role-playing video game in development and to be published by Capcom, and is the sixth primary title in their Monster Hunter franchise. The game was announced at Sony’s E3 2017 conference, and is currently scheduled for a simultaneous worldwide release in January 2018; while it will only release for PlayStation 4 in Japan, it will launch with both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions in Western regions, with a Microsoft Windows release in late 2018.[2] It will feature much larger maps, seamless transitions between zones in the map and four-player online co-op, and will also allow players globally to play together, a first in the series

Spider-Man is an upcoming action-adventure video game based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man. It is being developed by Insomniac Games and to be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4.[1] It will be the first licensed game developed by Insomniac.[2] The game will tell a new story about Spider-Man and is not tied to a film, comic book or video game.[1] It will cover both the Peter Parker and Spider-Man aspects of the character and will feature an older and more experienced Spider-Man.[1] Spider-Man is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2018

Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an upcoming Western-themed action-adventure video game developed and published by Rock star Games for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Q1/Q2 2018. The game is a prequel to the 2010 title Red Dead Redemption [1] and will be the third entry in the Red Dead series. It follows the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Dutch van der Linde gang.

Number 2: Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 is an upcoming action-adventure first-person shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the eleventh installment and the fifth main title in the Far Cry series. It is scheduled to be released on February 27, 2018.

God of War is an upcoming third-person action-adventure video game in development by Santa Monica Studio and to be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 console. God of war is scheduled to be released in early 2018 for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) console. It will be the eighth installment in the God of War series, the eighth chronologically, and the sequel to 2010’s God of War III. The game will be a soft reboot for the franchise and will take the series to the world of Norse mythology—all previous games were based on Greek mythology. Series protagonist Kratos will return as the main character, and he now has a son named Atreus. Kratos acts as a mentor and protector to his son, and has to master the rage that has driven him for many years.
